Three options, depending on your time
You have two minutes: Crio Gel
Take the gel from the airless bottle and spread it by hand on tendons and ligaments below the knee. It has an ice effect: the legs feel fresh and light straight away. Handy in the yard and at shows.
You have half an hour: Cryo Wraps
Pre-soaked wraps, ready to apply: wrap them from the fetlock to above the knee, with no bandage over them, and remove them after 30–40 minutes. They contain arnica, menthol, birch, red vine and centella. For extra cold, keep them in the fridge before use.
The classic: a clay poultice
Spread a thick layer of clay on the legs by hand and let it air-dry: no paper and no bandage. Ice Clay contains natural cooling agents and is the choice for warm months; Natural Clay is cosmetic-grade green clay. Both wash off with water only, leaving no residue.
After the competition, away from home
At shows time is short: Crio Gel and Cryo Wraps are the most practical, as they need no water and no preparation. The poultice is perfect once you're back at the yard.
Frequently asked questions

Can they be used in competition?
Yes. We have checked every ingredient against the FEI list of prohibited substances.
What sizes does the clay come in?
Natural Clay and Ice Clay come in 1 to 5 kg tubs, handy if you look after several horses.
Legs need attention when the horse stands still for long too: the wraps for hours in the stable or trailer. On the horse map you'll find the whole routine for legs and tendons.
