Is TranquiDog a medicine or a sedative?
No. TranquiDog is a cosmetic product based on pure essential oils that works solely through the sense of smell. It does not alter your dog's behaviour, requires no prescription and has no side effects.
How quickly does it work?
The effect is noticeable a few minutes after application. For predictable situations such as car journeys, vet visits or grooming, we recommend applying TranquiDog 5–10 minutes beforehand. The effect lasts roughly 1–3 hours.
Can I use it every day?
Yes. The formula is gentle and designed for frequent use. You can apply TranquiDog whenever your dog needs it, with no daily limit.
Is it suitable for all breeds and sizes?
Yes, TranquiDog is suitable for dogs of any breed and size. Do not use on puppies under 3 months or on pregnant bitches without veterinary advice.
Where exactly is it applied?
Apply 2–3 strokes of the roll-on to the chest, behind the ears or at the base of the neck. Alternatively you can apply it directly to the collar or harness — so the effect lasts even when your dog is moving around freely.
How long does one bottle last?
It depends on how often you use it. With an average of 2–3 applications a day, a 30 ml bottle lasts about 4–6 weeks.
