Natural horse care products: how to choose them and read the ingredients

In short

To choose a natural product for your horse, look at three things: the ingredients (not just the word «natural»), the moment it's designed for, and how easy it is to use every day. A step you actually do counts more than a product left on the shelf.

1. Read the ingredients

«Natural» alone says little: check what's inside. In our products you'll find, for example, mountain arnica (Arnica Pura contains 95%), cosmetic-grade clays, lavender and chamomile hydrosols, essential oils such as lavender, sweet orange, vetiver and citronella, and hydrolysed keratin for hooves. Some products also contain technical ingredients, like the cosmetic alcohol that makes DryON fast-drying: we say so clearly.

2. Choose by moment, not by category

3. Prefer simple steps

Roll-ons, sprays, ready wraps, gel in airless bottles: the quicker the step, the more it becomes a habit. That's the principle behind every ON-H product.

Frequently asked questions

Can natural products be used in competition?

It depends on the ingredients. For ours: we have checked every ingredient against the FEI list of prohibited substances.
